• City Name: If you manually enter a city name for the weather widget instead of using automatic location.
• App Preferences: Your dock customization settings, which are stored locally on your device.
• Purchase Information: Transaction records for subscriptions and in-app purchases processed through Apple's payment system.

2. Automatically Collected Information

MasterDock collects minimal automatic information:

• Crash Reports: Anonymous crash data to help us improve app stability (if you opt-in through macOS settings)
• Basic Usage Analytics: Anonymous usage patterns to understand which features are most popular (no personal data included)
• Subscription Status: We verify your subscription status with Apple's servers to provide access to premium features

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information such as credit card numbers. Apple handles all payment processing and provides us only with transaction confirmations and subscription status.

Subscription Management

You can manage your subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain the Service
• To verify and manage your subscriptions and purchases
• To display weather information in the weather widget (if enabled)
• To save your preferences and settings locally
• To improve app performance and fix bugs

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage

Most of your data is stored locally on your Mac using Apple's secure UserDefaults system. This includes all your dock configurations, app preferences, and customization settings. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly back it up using iCloud or other services.

Weather Data

If you use the weather widget, location or city name data is sent to weather service providers to fetch current weather information. We use industry-standard weather APIs that have their own privacy policies. We do not store this information on our servers.

Security Measures

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Services

Apple App Store

Weather Services

The weather widget uses third-party weather APIs. These services may collect anonymous location data to provide weather information. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies if you use this feature.

• Modification: You can modify or delete any settings at any time
• Deletion: Uninstalling MasterDock removes all locally stored data

• Data Portability: Your settings are stored in standard macOS formats and can be backed up
• Subscription Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription anytime through your Apple ID settings

Children's Privacy

MasterDock is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

International Data Transfers

MasterDock primarily operates locally on your device. Weather data requests may be processed by international weather service providers. Subscription verification occurs through Apple's international servers. By using these features, you consent to these transfers.

Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services:

• Local app settings are retained until you uninstall the app
• Subscription records are retained as required by Apple and tax laws
• Support correspondence is retained for up to 2 years
• Analytics data is anonymized and aggregated
